I want to paint height blended textures on a mesh actor, and have them blend like the “LB Heightblend” does in the “landscape layer blend” node.
Is there a way to use the “landscape layer blend” material node on mesh actors, using a vertex colors as the input data?
I know it is not what you asked for and sorry I don’t have an answer for your exact question, but have you tried Substance Painter? It could be a good alternative if it turns out it is impossible to do in engine.
Yes! If you’re blending two textures with a single height map, use the node called HeightLerp. Connect the vertex color node to ‘transition phase’.
If both your inputs have their own height maps, use ‘HeightLerpWithTwoHeightMaps’.
