Did some sword modeling/texturing practice a few weeks ago. Currently looking to plan out gigs for the next month or so. Shoot me an email if you have any questions.

Got some more practice to share. Retextured an old M1 Garand model I originally created as Furiosa’s prop. Check out a real time preview and 4k images at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LmxmA. If you’re in need of a game asset of this quality, shoot me an email.
That last gun above is simply amazing… I’ve got Maya LT and not much skill… sure wish I had 1/10 of your skill.
teak
Thank you Teak, I appreciate that. However, learning Maya is an extremely powerful first step. Pick up some Substance, try out some sculpting in any way you can, and it won’t take long to understand the current asset production pipeline. I’ve been doing this for years. If you hit those programs hard, and seek out as much knowledge and training online as you can, you can get up to speed in a year or two.
Thanks again man.
Here’s some recent freelance texture work I’ve been up to. I’ve been on a retexturing stint, where I’m provided models that need either an improvement or a complete revamp for PBR. This plane was not modeled by me. Single 4k set. Textured in Substance.
Hey, updated that soldier bot I did a couple years ago. Brought him up to speed (kind of) to my current skill level. Always looking for work. You can check out more pics of the bot at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Lm6Lv.
Working on a new character. Just a rough WIP of his face so far. Always looking for work, so shoot me an email if you’ve got some game art needs.
Been busy on a new project creating harpy/fantasy characters. Will have some more finished renders once all the characters are wrapped up, but here’s an in engine shot of the first harpy type.
Always looking for work; shoot me an email and we can talk about your project.
Playing more with some in engine rendering, still figuring out how post processing and lighting works in unreal. The environment is just the landscape mountain demo project.
Always looking for new gigs.
I put together a quick overview of my current hair production techniques. It’s not a blow by blow hour long video so you won’t be learning the intricacies of any of the programs I show, so I recommend this tutorial for developers with a basic to intermediate knowledge of Zbrush, Maya, and Photoshop. However, the great thing about this workflow is that it doesn’t require any one program (maybe Xnormal because it’s awesome).
I’ve been working on some new stuff, and I’ll have some renders of my most recent character on this thread within a day or so.
If you have a character that needs some hair, and anything else, shoot me an email. Always looking for work.
Here’s the most recent character I produced for Caracal Games on their ongoing game project, Downward (www.downwardgame.com). They’re building it in UE4. You can check out more screens and info on this guy at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RX2lm
Always available for work, so shoot me an email if you have something that needs doing.
Uploaded an art dump for my conceptual art. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3e0PA
If you need a concept artist + 3d modeler and texture artist, and someone that can do some light rigging and help with asset integration in engine, let me know.
Revamping my portfolio to get it up to speed presentation wise with the recent Merchant. Here’s a new, potentially nightmare inducing render of my freaky mouth.
Hit me up if you’re in need of some character art.
Updated the Archer Girl from last year. Looking for quick pickup work for the next month.
A quick prop study of the chair I sit on all the time, completed in a couple nights. Took ref photos to model from, as well as built out a quick custom fabric material for the cushion. Will have a more comprehensive breakdown of the asset on artstation in the next day or so, but wanted to get a render online to test out the new Marmoset 3 beta. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can download the free beta at Redirecting... – it’s awesome.
I’ve also recently joined a game studio as a character artist, and have been working full time. However, I have time for freelance gigs on the side (particularly small ones). Hit me up if you have need of any modeling and texturing of anything.
I wanted to thank those that have worked with me over the past few years, and have given me opportunities when I was inexperienced early on. Freelancing on the indie scene has taught me much about how to be both a dedicated student and professional artist. It’s helped me learn how to be flexible, and how to work with any scenario, on any project.
I hope the indie community continues to grow, and I look forward to what this community can accomplish. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the interest man, but I only do paid gigs. Wish you luck on the kickstarter.
