[PAID] Animation System Programmer for Arena Sword-fighting Game (UE5)

What we’re working on
We’re a small indie studio working on our first commercial project, an arena multiplayer sword-fighting game with a combat system based on historical martial arts.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a programmer specialising in animation systems in Unreal Engine. An ideal candidate will have experience with C++ and Blueprints and be able to demonstrate past work on relatively complex animation systems. Experience with the Advanced Locomotion System plugin or analogous systems, such as various animation systems in the UE5 Lyra, are desirable but not essential.

Scope
The role will initially focus on refining and developing a system to elegantly handle transitions between poses and animations, and then on implementing a range of additional mechanical and animation-related cosmetic enhancements, such as dismemberment.

What we’re offering
An industry-standard hourly rate (open to negotiation) plus a royalty once the game is released.
