Packaging level hangs

Hi, my level hangs on ‘packaging level…’

This map has packaged in the past, just not on this version.
CPU not really working hard
tried restart and rebuild but still doesnt finish packing.

Any help would be great.

  • Does this occur with a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?
  • What steps are you taking to package your project?
  • What device or platform are you packaging to?
  • What editor versions have you packaged to? Does the error only occur in 4.11 preview?
  • Which preview version are you currently using?

Im using the editor so as far as I know I can only have one project at any time?

I am using the ‘share this level’ feature in the editor.

I have tested the share or package feature with the starter map and a clean map with consisting of one player start, a light and a closed room and both dont finish packing, or ‘sharing’.

I haven’t come across an option to package to a specific platform and have not needed to select these options in the past.

I am currently using the most up to date version of the editor which I believe is 4.11? I would test in an older version but I dont know how to downgrade.

Are you using the editor version specific to Unreal Tournament or are you using the standard Unreal Engine 4?

Did you follow the steps listed at the link below?

yeah im using the editor in the create tab opposed to the unreal 4 engine.
