Packaged project exe fails to launch - Assertion Failed

Our project can cook and be package properly, but on launching the newly created exe we get the following error.

Assertion failed: !GEventDrivenLoaderEnabled II !bLockoutLegacyOperations II !(1) [File:D:/Build/++UE4++Licensee/Sync/Engine/Source/Runtime/CoreUObject/Private/UObject/LinkerLoad.cpp] [Line: 3622]

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Update: We aren’t sure why but projects exe file only works when we set project build configuration to Shipping
