Package localization ID mismatch during cook

Hello,

I keep getting a warning when I cook the contents of my project for Windows. I do have a good deal of Text Renders in my level so I’m not sure what I need to do to reset the ID mismatch. Attached is an image showing what I get, any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi jimd3667,

Can you confirm that those are from text render components and not from struct variables used in BPs?

,

Correct, they are Text Render components that I get from the left side bar in the world. Some of my BP’s have a Text Render component as well (floating text over a certain NPC for example.)

,

Found the solution, I had to open the blueprint that had the text written in quotes. Inside the details panel was a custom text variable that I used, inside that field I removed the text and once I clicked away from the empty field it refilled itself with the same text but I had to recompile the BP. Once I did that the warnings went away, so they were not structures necessarily but close enough.

Thanks again!

We have a bug report for this error caused when default value of structs don’t apply to BP instances as their internal properties expect. Do you think you can reproduce your error in isolation and send us that project?

If so, you can send a link to your zipped project on Dropbox (or the like) to me in a private message on our .
