Oversized trees with Procedural Foliage Volume vs. foliage-painting the very same tree assets (UE 5.4.4)

Doing a side-by-side comparison of painted vs. procedural with the very same 4 tree assets (of type Static Mesh Foliage), the painted on the left (brush size of 12345) and on the right the procedural volume (cylinder radius of 12345).

The procedural-foliage-spawned ones are way too giant with what’s mostly default settings! Palm tree trunks about 3x the width of a Manny or Quinn or MetaHuman. Whereas the painted ones are of a sensible scale (compare bamboo huts and shacks in the screenshot) — confirming that the tree assets’ geometries are sensibly scaled.

Where did I mess up and how to rectify this? After hours of fiddling with the various sliders numbers and hitting Resimulate and waiting without learning a thing… I gotta give up and ask :grin:
