UE4 repeatedly crashing and using excessive amounts of memory while moving more than a small handful of assets from one folder to another. Engine crashes with “Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource”. Problem has happened while project set to DX12. Repeated on GTX 770 an R9 290, as well as a RTX 3080. The RTX 3080 did not suffer from a crash while moving the same files as the GTX 770 and R9 290, but did have high memory usage during process
RAM usage on 3080
(GPU Dedicated RAM - 5GB/ Shared RAM 12gb).
Utilizing DX11 instead results in a max of 1.9GB total Dedicated and Shared ram usage and no crashing.
Issue also happens when fixing redirectors
