Summary
My previous thumbnail (labeled “OK”) passed review without issues, but my new thumbnail (labeled “NG”) receives a similarity warning in Creator Portal.
Both thumbnails feature my own original characters. The new thumbnail also faithfully represents my original character designs, including a different character from the previous image.
Although the thumbnails share a layout and some visual elements, the characters, backgrounds, and effects differ. Could the new thumbnail be getting flagged because it resembles my own previously approved thumbnail?
I would like to understand what triggered this warning. The screenshot shows a similarity warning during submission, rather than a confirmed moderation rejection.

Steps to Reproduce
Open the island publishing workflow in Creator Portal.
Upload the new thumbnail labeled “NG.”
Observe the similarity warning.
Compare it with the previous thumbnail labeled “OK,” which passed review without issues.
Expected Result
The similarity check should correctly recognize content belonging to the original creator. If changes are required, the warning should provide clearer guidance on which elements need to be changed.
Observed Result
The thumbnail labeled “NG” receives a warning stating that it is similar to another thumbnail and may affect eligibility for top Discover rows and Sponsored Row campaigns.
The warning does not identify the matching thumbnail or explain which elements triggered it, so I cannot tell whether it is being compared with my own previous thumbnail or someone else’s.
