Opacity in Motion Graphics Material Editor not working!!!

Hello, started testing the otion graphics tools in unreal, very nice so far, except I can’t get opacity to work like I’d expect in the sense that it behaves more like an on/off boolean instead of a interpolated float going from 0-1.

What do i need to do to get the opacity behaving right?

Make sure your Material Type is set to Translucent.
Since you’re seeing this ON/OFF behavior, I would presume you have it set to Masked?

Hello, I tried both masked and translucent and got the sane on/off type behavior;

any other ideas what I might be missing?
