Whilst trying out the new planar reflections which should be perfect for my use case, I’ve run into an issue where it only seems to allow one planar reflection actor to influence objects at once - and not just because they’re close, it seems like only one can be ‘active’ at once which ruins my use case.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue if it is solvable now - or will it be fixed at any point in the future?
Thanks
Hi Oscar,
Multiple Planar Reflection actors are supported per scene. These should just work simply. Try setting up something like my scene below and have multiple planar reflection actors placed, one for each wall and see if you get the same results.
After further testing it seems the issue is only present with instanced static mesh components, where it only allows one at once - and always the one which was updated the longest ago (updated as in was transformed/variable changed) - but works perfectly with static mesh actors
I am have an issue where I can only have one horizontal reflection capture. I can have as many vertical as I want but if I add a 2nd or 3rd horizontal it will only show the first one made.
Is this a bug or its just how it works? or am i just crazy?
