Has anyone had any running UE4 with a GTX 970 when using 3.5GB to 4GB memory range?
https://forums.geforce/default/topic/803518/geforce-900-series/gtx-970-3-5gb-vram-issue/1/
I am contemplating getting a GTX960 to save up to then get a GTX 980.

Thanks.

Notes (optional): System is showing its age, mostly cpu Athlon II x3 3.2ghz unlocked by asrock mobo to Phenom II x4 3.2ghz), certainly not gpu ( new) , and while I have a Sata 6Gb/s ssd its on a sata II mobo - 8gb ddr3 1333

Just ordered ‘new’ ( to us ) system, i5-3570 based. Hardly new, but nevertheless impressive, 2012 ArkTel.

it’'s will be good to having a chart for all these information, and then we can know which hardware is best ( or good than ) for Unreal Engine

Closing thread. It was started back in 2014 and is no longer necessary. In many cases, hardware listed will be out of date by now.
