So I have been working on a VR world and everything has been going great but all of a sudden everything in the game world seems to have slowed down. I am not meaning performance wise but as in actual game speed.
My open door animations are slowed, when I pick up an object and throw it, it now floats like it’s in slow motion. The video and sound files in the level still play right, and if I load up a different level in the project everything is fine.
I am guessing I have altered some setting somehow but I can’t figure it out, any help would be awesome. This is a project that was started on 4.11 and now using 4.13.
Not sure, I am still pretty new to all this, so still learning what effects everything has, but there is nothing being applied to the level blueprint and the items are just basic static meshes with physics applied.
I did some more playing around last night and I couldn’t find anything different between the two levels, I increased the door animation and they work fine now. So the main issue just just how floaty picking up items feels.
I pick them up and they float like the air is really thick, weirdly, if they hit a surface and bounce off it they act much more normally.
I tried changing the mass, gravity, max velocity of the level. I also tried adding a physics material and giving it more density. No change.
I hate not know what caused an issue like this and how to fix it.
