Odd cloud around translucent object: astronaut helmet 5.7

Hey there,

I am trying to do a simple astronaut with a metahuman. The glass on the helmet has fogging off and is two sided. Lights seem to make a weird fog around the helmet which comes and goes. made sure bloom was off in Post Process… which made no difference.

Maybe check the glass material has “Translucent” blend mode and not “Additive”.

It was “thin translucent”.. I don’t think it is the material as I did a substrate glass from scratch and the same problem occurs. I am wondering if it is a refraction or reflection setting.. sadly my graphic card doesn’t support path tracing…
