Oculus rift DK1 no VR Preview for 4.6.1

Hello Everyone

Im currently having a problem with my 4.6.1 version of UE4. after connecting my Oculus DK1 i cant see the VR preview in the view port. i tested it with 4.7 and it works fine but for my project i need to stick with the 4.6.1 so i would greatly appreciate any help. is there anyway i can fix it?

VR preview is a feature from 4.7 so there’s no easy way to make this happen.

The only way I can think of is going on github and compiling a custom 4.6 engine with “only that part”. This seems like a pretty big task to me.
