Hello. Have a question about Oculus Quest. Client asks to porting an existing Vive Project to Oculus Quest. Have problems with texture compression.
In-Engine Preview with “Vulkan Preview” show me some very critical compression noise on lightmaps.
Lightmap size is 2K, highest build settings.
Without compression it looks good.
Does it matter to leave it uncompressed for the Quest (don´t have a Quest device here in the office at the moment)? Or what can i do ?
I´m using default compression settings: DXT1/5, BC1/3 on DX11)
With normal preview in-Engine (not Vulkan) compressed Lightmaps have no artifacts, only with Vulkan Preview…
