Ocean water body doesn’t work

Hi everyone. I have an issue with ocean water body and i don’t know how to resolve this. Can you help?

Hey there @Rurubosio! Welcome to the community! It’s somewhat difficult to determine what is happening from the camera picture alone. Can you describe the issue a bit more, possibly including a screenshot directly?

Here’s a solid tutorial on getting the water system working:

From the screenshot it looks like the Water Zone is not affecting the landscape properly, so the ocean surface is clipping or not forming correctly.

Check these quickly:

Make sure a Water Zone actor exists in the level and fully covers your ocean area. Without it, the Ocean Water Body will not render or deform correctly.

Confirm your landscape has Edit Layers enabled. The water system needs this to carve the terrain.

Also verify that the Water plugin is enabled and that you are using a Landscape, not a static mesh, under the ocean.

If it still looks flat or broken, try deleting and re adding the Ocean Water Body after placing the Water Zone.
