Object turns black when applying a material




For some reason when i add an object to the scene it becomes black, but in preview it looks completely fine. Any solutions?

Is there a skylight?

yes, and all other objects appear fine

like its actually black for no reason

Your normals are wrong. You are taking the cross product of DDY and DDY.
You need the cross product of DDX and DDY to determine world space normals.
