Nvidia stuido issue

I have a major issue with the UE4Editor_D3D11RH it crash if the studio recording isn’t turn on to keep unreal engine 4 or 5 from cashing after a period of time meaning it would go black screen if i press the task back it would remove the black screen, if i go click on the ureal engine editor it would still go black screen. I’ve try everything to fix this problem even rolling back, i want to finish my work.

Hey there @EvilEyeGames! By studio recorder, are you referencing a gpu recording software? May I see the complete error as well as your specs?

I’m sorry about not checking this at all. have a file that i can share here.

here is the file for what was going on and also i have Ryzen 7 2700 gpu 3060 ti
with 32 ram.

Alright, so my first recommendation is to update your graphic drivers, then reset your Nvidia control panel settings to default. This often resolves DX issues immediately. If that doesn’t work, here’s 2 threads that have a myriad of possible fixes for graphical failures, though most of these were at the driver level and not the DX device being lost, which can occur if the GPU is being overwhelmed.

If you’re using anything that touches the GPU memory directly like Shadowplay or MSI Afterburner, try disabling them.

already fix this issue and had to go too windows and switch my dx12 to keep it from crashing.
