Nvidia GTX 970 highest possible render settings?

Hi guys!
My core question is: what render settings should I have if I want the highest possible renders when using Nvidia GTX 970?

Short background:
I’m rendering movies with movie render queue. When I check the boxes for raytracing and lumen the editor becomes heavy. I know my graphics card isn’t the ideal one but is it possible to render a movie with raytracing and lumen without getting this error:

“GPU Crashed or D3D Device Removed. Use -d3ddebug to enable the D3D debug device. Check log for GPU state information.”

(Couldn’t find good answer to this).

Not hardware raytracing.

Software raytracing… maybe… The problem with the 970 is that it has about half the GPU memory of a modern card. Meaning you’re likely to run out of gpu memory, which is most likely what is causing your driver crash.

You can try rendering at lower resolutions and see if that helps. Failing that, using lower resolution textures/meshes, or using virtual textures with nanite may help.
