FleX not work now, I only test FleX :frowning:

Current VXGI-4.18 has an that occurs on specific situations, in my computer it happens always on editor exit. Some have reported it throwing error at the same line while taking high res screenshot. 's a list of Github issues on matter:

I made a custom 4.18.2 branch that contains Blast, Flex, Flow, HairWorks, HBAO+ and VXGI: https://github//UnrealEngine/tree/4.18-GameWorks. I didn’t include WaveWorks as it’s cuda only. I will NOT provide any kind of support for branch so please don’t PM me about it (reporting possible issues on thread is ok), I just merged it for my own testing purposes and thought to share it in case others will find it useful.

VXGI reported on previous post affects repo as well. All GameWorks samples should work but I haven’t test packaged them all so issues might still exist.

They all work in 4.18.2 editor, but as mentioned you might get that error message on editor exit, it’s an brought from 4.18.2 VXGI branch.

I’ve since tried packaging these and everything else seems to work fine but the HairWorks demo scene (in packaged game). There weren’t 4.18 HairWorks in the official NvPhysX repo but I noticed had version upgraded to 4.18: so I just merged it in instead. I didn’t even try merging the NvPhysX 4.16 one as the mentioned fork seemed to work fine initially. Other GameWorks tech is directly from NvPhysX repo with simple 4.18 fixes for Flex and Flow.

As a side note, if you only need Blast, Flex and Flow, I made another branch for it (these all should work properly in editor and packaged):

epic volmetric light is horrible, I want nvidia volumetric light
and hairworks rug, human hair and other object easy create
and flex blast and flow use is creative animation make,
and 4.18.2 datasmith plugin copy paste (if work) 3ds vray material convert for my ue4

so ı need vxgi hbao+ flex blast hairworks flow volumetric light in 4.18.2

ı dont need wavework but if can import branch its can be

actualy transculent lightmap coming 4.19 its realistic glass material (i think)

you will 4.19 its perfect branch for me.

Does it crash immediately for you? All in all, the lies within VXGI, not much you can do without manually fixing the VXGI branches issues (and looking around, it seems like it’s been throwing those errors on 4.17 too).

datsmith doesnt work but official ue4 import and migrate its work.
how convert material old version. because 4.18 gameworks not stable.

İ wait but anybody dont talk 4.18 coming soon etc. everybody is silent.

Could anyone advise me on why Visual Studio builds the project in the same folder as source, when I specify a different output directory? After the build is complete I am left with a ~40gb folder, whereas the launcher engine versions come in at ~10gb. I previously used to clean these folders manually, but it’s quite a drag. Is it something to do with the VS settings or something? I would be very grateful for an answer. Thank you.
