NPC Spawner uses default skin after ~20 unique NPCs with different skin on Switch

Summary

On my UEFN island, when spawning more than ~20 NPCs where each NPC is configured to use a different skin, all platforms except Nintendo Switch spawn the correct skins. On Switch, after a certain NPC count, the NPC Spawner begins spawning NPCs with a default skin instead of the configured one.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create an island and place NPC Spawner devices.
  • Configure 30+ NPCs (repro occurs around 20, sometimes slightly above/below).
    • Each NPC has a unique skin/cosmetic configured.
    • No other special overrides or runtime switching.
  • Start the island session on Switch and allow all NPCs to spawn (either simultaneously or within a short window).
  • Observe the skins of NPCs spawning after ~25 NPCs

Expected Result

All NPCs spawn using their individually configured skins, regardless of platform.

Observed Result

On Switch: after a certain number of unique NPCs (≈20), newly spawned NPCs use a default skin instead of the configured unique skin.

Maybe switch off npc if you can. players do not need to see all 30 visible at any time. Enable and disable different spawners to leverage different outfits and still keep total unique outfit number under 20.
