Summary
Hi everyone,
I’m running into an issue in UEFN where, after pushing changes and the session restarts, NPCs from the NPC Spawner device stop spawning entirely. This includes not spawning at game start, via Verse, or through event bindings. This only happens after pushing changes; NPCs spawn as expected at the beginning of the session.
Additional details:
- NPCs spawn as expected before pushing changes
- After pushing changes and session restart, NPCs will not spawn at all, even when triggered via Verse or event bindings.
- Haven’t tested if this happens between rounds without pushing changes, but it always occurs after pushing updated content.
- Device setup is standard: valid Character Definition, spawn at game start enabled, and proper spawn limits.
Questions:
- Has anyone else had NPC Spawners stop working after pushing changes?
- Are there ways to re-initialize NPC Spawners after a session restart from Push Changes?

Steps to Reproduce
Start a live UEFN session with an NPC Spawner, Confirm NPCs spawn normally, Push any change to trigger a session update, Try spawning NPCs again after the restart
Expected Result
NPC Spawners should keep working after pushing changes and restarting the session.
Observed Result
After pushing changes, NPCs no longer spawn by any method.
