Just noticed that notes in UEFN dont show anymore.
You can press the c key to write a note and then when you click confirm you cant actually close the note but further more you cnt actually see any notes now. Event when you click the tabs Window → Notes its just blank

@AtAshTag Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue. We haven’t yet been able to reproduce this issue on our end yet.
Could you help us out providing some additional info:
Can you reproduce this experience with Notes on multiple projects or is it just this one?
Can you reproduce this after quitting and relaunching UEFN from the Epic Games Launcher?
Is there a chance you didn’t have an internet connection when you attempted to make the Notes/Open the panel? Notes is a cloud-enabled tool, so creation of Notes/loading of the panel does require an active internet connection, and a lack of internet connection could explain why creation was hanging and the notes window was blank.
Was this project newly created in this latest version of UEFN or did you create it in a previous version?
If you created it in a previous version did it already have notes before upgrading to this version or were you attempting to create the first notes in this project?
Can you please share the project ID (it can be found in the URL, when viewing the project on the creator portal – example screenshot below) so that we can investigate if anything is going awry with how notes are stored in it?

1.) I tried on the village template by epic games and notes work so i think its only this island.
2.) I have fully restarted my pc and it still doesn’t work. I have also verified Fortnite/UEFN numerous times and this also has no effect.
3.) My connection is always stable and runs at 1gb/s direct high speed so they is no possibility of lag spikes causing the issue/loss of connection.
4/5.) This project was created in a version prior to the update yesterday. I had a issue before with notes i reported and this was fixed. (Thankyou Epic) This is a new issue that has only happened since the update. There were alot of notes on the project before the update yesterday as i use notes alot i find its one of the most powerful tools we as creators have and imo its so underrated by creators. All of these pre notes are also missing/not showing

Just to add this is the few lines in the output log when trying to do a note this morning. I noticed a read line so wanted to share
Hi @AtAshTag the team has been investigating your report, and while we don’t have a solution, we believe we’ve identified the problem area occurring with your project.
We’re hoping you can help us confirm we’re on the right track by doing the following:
Open the project
Disable revision control by (1) clicking on the “Revision Control” menu in the bottom right-hand corner of the editor, (2) clicking “Change Revision Control Settings”, and (3) “Disable revision control”
Close the Editor
Relaunch the editor and open the same project
Confirm if Notes can be created and whether the notes list loads now that revision control is off
Then re-enable revision control to make sure you can keep backing up work by (1) clicking on the “Revision Control” menu in the bottom right-hand corner of the editor, (2) clicking “Connect to Revision Control”, (3) Select “Unreal Revision Control” from the dropdown, and (4) click “Accept settings”
Please let us know whether you continued to experience the same issues with Notes when revision control was off for the project. Thanks in advance!

We’ll have a couple fixes going into one of the next releases to hopefully ensure you can’t get into this state again, but in the meantime please keep us posted if you get stuck again.
