Thanks @Cleverlike_Studios I am reaching out to my team whether this flow has changed, as I remember there used to be the window that asks the user to checkout the file if auto-checkout is turned off.

After discussing it with the team, we agree that this is by design. But the fact that this is perceived as a bug, we will have to review these flows. Thanks for bringing it up.
