Normal - Radio Device: Plays FN Music Not Custom, Verse Device Recognizes Legacy Version not UEFN Version

Update: I tried flagging my song as “Music” in the audio file details and it still did not fix my issue. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

The radio device is nonfunctional with custom imported music.

First problem is that when I add the device as a property on my Verse Device, the version of the device that’s in the UEFN device library is not recognized by my Verse Device, by selecting in the viewport or the drop down menu. However the Radio from the Legacy folder is recognized. The Radio from the UEFN library does not allow me to add a custom audio track, but the Radio from the Legacy library does. Maybe the two versions got mixed up in UEFN’s device menus.

This is what shows in the Details Panel of the UEFN folder Radio:

Second problem is that when I use the Radio (the Legacy version) and add my audio track as a Cue, the Radio still plays FN music. My Cue and WAV file are both set to Public.

These are my Details panels settings

Is there anything I’m doing wrong on my end?

I have also experienced this issue, just yesterday

Encountered this too. I ll try to setup a sequencer for now, but this is crucial to be able to play music with attenuation settings (keep in mind that the LIVE radio is also broken and doesn’t start/end on channel transmission, so once that is fixed, then that version needs to be added to UEFN).

I’m a little unsure if I’m currently able to have non-spatialized looping music which uses the user-configured music volume. Do you know if this is possible?

I’m using an "audio player device "with custom audio and attenuation with distance and looping audio.

I’ve attached it to a custom prop robot … it’s the walking sound.

Replying in case you may be able to use the audio player instead.
