Normal map not showing right

I have a skeletal mesh character with a normal map, when i make a simple material with white color and normal map the normal map shows aberration/distortion. But when i apply that same material to the same character as a static mesh it looks the way it should? not sure why and pulling my hair out.

The character on the left is in game while playing and the right one is the same mesh but only static.The problem is clearly visible on the front of the shirt


Ok, i realized that when you import the mesh you must choose “Import Normals”. For some reason the skeletal mesh import setting was set to “Compute Normals”.
It’s working fine now.
