Normal - Custom Asset Build Props not working

Hello,
I’ve not been able to successfully convert a custom mesh into a building prop. I’ve followed the steps in the documentation but no joy. Is there a step which is missing?

  1. Create blueprint class - building prop
  2. Assign Asset Mesh in blueprint Static Mesh Field.
  3. Change resource type, ensure can be damaged.
  4. Add attributes, intialization category and subcategory (e.g. PropWood : 2)
  5. Save / Compile
  6. In Mesh editor, add in FX_Death in socket. In blueprint add in FX_Death to Death particle field.

What is the problem you are running in to when you go through this process?

I cannot interact with the prop and on hitting it with the pickaxe, no damage is taken off. Unlike the GIF in the documentation.
