Summary
For me, as a citizen of Ukraine, passing address verification is impossible. Any identity document does not contain residential address information (except for the national passport), but the national passport is not accepted for verification (I submitted a photo of my national passport and was rejected).
Any official documentation from government institutions is issued only in the state language (Ukrainian) and is not suitable for verification since an English-language document is required (documents not in English are automatically rejected).
Utility bills are issued only in the state language, and in my case, the bill would still be in the name of my close relative, as I am not the direct owner of the house. This means that the utility bill option is not suitable for verification for two reasons. Even if I were the owner, the bill would still be in Ukrainian.
The only document in English that can be obtained in my country and that is accepted for verification on all international platforms is a bank statement. However, here’s an unpleasant surprise—you will receive a rejection stating “Invalid.”
The “Invalid” category includes:
Self-created invoices – In my case, I submitted a PDF bank statement with an electronic signature and seal from an authorized bank representative.
Prepaid card statements – My statement was issued for a regular bank card with my name and photo on it. This is not a prepaid card.
Documents from non-bank fintech services – My statement was issued by one of the largest banks in Ukraine—PrivatBank—so this is not a non-bank fintech service.
What conclusions can be drawn from this?
Someone is strongly discouraging non-English-speaking countries outside the EU from selling their content on FAB. Initially, identity verification was required, but as it turned out, that was easy to pass. Then, your trader account gets reset, and address verification is required—which is much harder to pass.
What’s next? If someone manages to pass address verification, will their trader account be reset again, and biometric data will be required for verification?
I hope it doesn’t come to that, but the fact that they are already demanding nonexistent documents while rejecting those that meet all criteria suggests otherwise.

Steps to Reproduce
Try to pass address verification while living outside an English-speaking country and outside the EU.
Expected Result
Successful address verification by submitting a bank statement for my bank card (not prepaid) in English, containing all the necessary information such as name, address, date of birth, etc., issued by one of the largest banks in my country a few days ago.
Observed Result
Address verification unsuccessful. Reason:
Invalid - Document does not meet the requirements. This includes self-created invoices, prepaid card statements, and non-bank fintechs (e.g., Cash App, Revolut).
