Non KPop island became a KPop island with no way to revert

Summary

An island I made that was not a KPDH brand island became a branded island after an update. There is no way for me to remove this.

Discovery

Steps to Reproduce

I honestly have no idea how this happened. I did not agree to the terms of this brand for this island. I do have another island that I did brand and that could maybe be the source of the issue?

Expected Result

The change should never have happened

Observed Result

The map became a branded island and I now lose 15% of my engagement rewards even though I did not agree to do so. I am now also suffering from reduced overall engagement because this map is not KPDH related.

Additional Notes

I did not sign the usual agreement form-thing that you usually need to do this… worries me a little

Hi @RandomBread

We’re checking into this. We’ll post back as soon as we have more information.

@RandomBread Do you have the field “FeatureSet” in your .uefnproject file? Could you let us know what it says?

There is a featureset field in the file but it is empty as shown in this picture

Update - I can no longer release new versions of the island as they result in errors

Thank you, I’ll pass this along to the team.

@RandomBread You should be able to upload the project now.

Also, do you remember performing this sequence on the island?

  1. Opened Kpop island in editor

  2. Closed Kpop island without reopening the editor

  3. Opened the “Survive the Disasters” island and uploaded.

Hey there, sorry for the long delay in reply. Yes, this was the exact sequence that occured. I have reposted the island however in the portal it still displays as a KPop island. Visual bug?

Edit - seems purely visual right now. Thanks for fixing this, though I’d be willing to bet I’m not the only one who had this happen

Thank you for letting us know! Yes, it’s a visual bug that will be fixed in an upcoming release. Thanks again!
