Today is my first day in unreal engine and I’m trying to follow unreal sensei’s beginning tutorial. The first problem I ran into was he has an option to include starter content in his video, and I don’t. The second issue was the blank project he started he was using minimal_default and I don’t have the option either? Brand new to all this and I’m super confused. I did look up to see how I can add it to my project through the content drawer and clicking the add button then features, but I still don’t see the option for the starter content? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hey @ReinkeDanky if you’re using UE 5.7 Check out this other reply from a similar post. UE5.7 doesn’t ship with Starter content anymore. But you can migrate it across as soon in this forum post

Thanks Jon,
I’ll also add that it is possible to have 5.6 and 5.7 installed at the same time. When learning the basics - you wont see a difference between the two.
Also, once you understand the basics of Static Meshes and Materials (Looks like he goes over both in first 1.5hr of tutorial), I think you’ll find the starter content unnecessary. So easiest option would be just to stick with 5.7.
With 5.7 there is a new built-in tutorial (The thing that is replacing starter content in a sense) - so I’d give that a run-through as well.
