Summary

I have 5 maps that have no sound after the game starts. I have no idea what causes this, these issues appeared after the v29.30 update
These are the maps with audio issues:
8079-6254-8884
0127-6311-1243
6188-7103-9193
0720-4600-8427
3388-2583-2817

Steps to Reproduce

Load into the map and wait for the round to start, audio will disappear during the countdown or shortly after the countdown ends.

Expected Result

There is no audio.

Observed Result

There is no audio.

Platform(s)

Edit: It is only PC that doesn’t have audio
Audio can be heard on Xbox Series X and S. Has not been tested on other platforms.

You can hear nitro drifters when driving them.

that’s crazy, i went into 0720-4600-8427 and there was sound at first and then it went silent after about a minute

some cars you get into and you can hear the engine etc… some cars are completely silent

Something that I’d like to add on is that some forms of audio briefly popped up after driving around in a truck. At some point I heard everything but it eventually glitched out down to being the storm timer. Things that I could hear separated from everything else were the storm timer, chests, gunshots, and then the storm.

I have the same problem on my live island: 7971-1781-8515
It’s only started happening this week on PC, haven’t tested on other platforms

A player on my island has reported this is happening for them on Nintendo Switch as well
