What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Publishing

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Publish island 5452-3798-3812 (Tower of Rage).
  2. The island received approximately 17,800 Discover impressions shortly after release and reached around 70 concurrent players.
  3. After the initial exposure, Discover impressions dropped sharply.
  4. Continue monitoring the island’s analytics for several days without publishing additional updates.
  5. Recent attraction metrics improve significantly, including CTR reaching 8.47% on July 24, but the island does not receive another significant Discover test.

Expected Result

I would expect the island to remain eligible for normal Discover evaluation and potential further testing as new performance data is collected.

I am not expecting or requesting guaranteed placement or manual promotion. I would simply like to confirm that there is no technical or eligibility issue preventing the island from being considered for further Discover testing.

Observed Result

The island received a large initial Discover exposure, but impressions dropped dramatically afterward and have remained very low.

Current statistics:

  • 22,146 total impressions
  • 644 clicks
  • 2.91% overall CTR
  • 8.47% CTR on July 24
  • 378 plays
  • 45 hours total active playtime
  • 33.0% of sessions under 2 minutes
  • 61.5% under 5 minutes
  • 78.6% under 10 minutes
  • 10.56% average D1 retention

Despite recent CTR improving to approximately 5–8%, there has been no second significant Discover test.

Additional Notes

Tower of Rage is primarily designed around multiplayer competition. Players race each other through a randomized parkour tower.

After the initial Discover exposure ended, CCU became very low, so new players frequently enter nearly empty sessions. Since competing against other players is a major part of the experience, I believe low CCU may also negatively affect engagement and retention.

I intentionally did not publish any updates for the last three days so that the current version could be evaluated without repeated publishing.

I am not requesting manual promotion or guaranteed Discover placement. I would just like to know whether this behavior is expected, or whether there could be a technical or eligibility issue affecting further Discover testing.

Thank you!
