Hi Folks,
I’m so sorry if the mistake is mine, but I cannot find the decal parameters on the details pane of the decal actor. In all the videos I’ve watched there is a decal parameters section in the details pane (to add a material, etc), just below the transform section. But when I try to use decal actors in UEFN there are no decal paramenters at all in the details pane – it just goes from transform to rendering, HLOD, etc. Can someone help me? (I’ve searched online and in these forums and I’ve yet to find an answer. Again, so sorry if it’s just me being daft somehow!)
@0pebble Thank you for your report! We would like to look into this further, would you be able to submit a bug report using the form available here: Fortnite Creative
Thank you for the bug report form – I submitted a report.
Hi @0pebble - One of our developers let me know there is another way to place a decal, by dragging a Material, which is set up as a Decal Material, into the level.
I’m also waiting to hear from another of our developers, but you may want to give it a try.
Hi @Flak - Thank you so much! Yes, dragging in the material works! (The public decal parameters are still somehow missing in the details pane of the created decal actor, so no control over fade in; etc., but I probably wouldn’t have used that stuff anyway!) Thank you so much @Flak and @PurpleElephant55 !!!
