No fullscreen mode after update to 4.3.0

Hello,

after updating to 4.3.0 I cannot ALT+ENTER into fullscreen anymore (Realistic Rendering Demo). So how can I (re-)enable that to get my DK1 working again ? Any suggestions ?

I have had similar issues after upgrading to Unreal Engine 4.3 this morning. The only way I have gotten it to work so far is to launch it as a standalone game using the ‘launch options’ dialogue located in the editor’s launch menu. Alt+Enter then successfully moved the image over to the oculus headset and began motion tracking.

I’m not having this problem (just getting a massive 50% frame rate drop). Make sure you click in the active game window before hitting alt+enter.

I’m also experiencing a MASSIVE frame drop when I turn on stereo now.

PDG1: You mentioned that you were running from inside the Editor; Unfortunately this is a known issue with Oculus currently.

This was only happening if -windowed was specified on the command line. This is true when launching a windows build from the editor, not via play standalone game.

A fix has been checked in for anyone who’s building from source. https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/commit/e2766640b2018906a17bd930059401214b2b883a

The fix might change a bit, but hopefully this helps folks out.
