Hi,
Did you enable Ambient Occlusion in the project settings?
Also did you check “Generate AO” in the Lightmass settings?
If you are using forward render, I think that SSAO is not supported (could be wrong).

Hello,
If I enable Ambient Occlusion,nothing changes.
I added a PostProcessVolume, unbound. All of my other effects work.
If I visualize the Ambient Occlusion channel, it’s all white.
Is this a bug in 4.15?
Ambient Occlusion is checked in the project Settings;
In Lightmass Settings, Use Ambient Occlusion is checked;
And i’m not using forward rendering.
I would like to know the answer of this as well… im doing lighting for VR and would very much like to have AO baked.
Same problem here with 4.18.1. It’s a bug?
Same problem with 4.19.2, I just changed the mode of lighting (Static / Stationary / Movable), and the AO just disabled itself… I tried every thing i found on answer hub : (Change back the mode, creates PPV, verify Ambient Occlusion is correctly checked everywhere it needs to be) Nothing.
Try to set Engine Scalability Settings to Cinematic, AO should appear.
I have the same problem in 4.20, everything commented is checked but still not showing
