I can’t access the properties for any Ninja Physics Volume. They’re greyed out and can’t be set via blueprints. Am I missing something? Or do we need to modify the plugin’s source code before we can access these values…

If anyone has a way to access these variables, please let me know!

Awesome plugin. I deleted my previous post as I have made some progress by reading through this forum. Amazing plugin and awesome group of people answering with great info. I am Specially looking Cosmicaffairs questions on control rotation from Dec 2021.

I have implemented solution Xaklse suggestion and it works great. But only works with controlling the character with the camera and I am hoping to have the same solution but with the control movement and not the camera. So I am trying to implement what Cosmicaffairs solution about ‘I unrotated the forward vector and then made a rotation from x vector, skipped the delta and it works!’ But I can’t get it to work. It is clearly user error on my end. Does anyone have a solution or could point me in the right direction? Any info would be awesome. But I know this forum hasn’t had much activity lately. Thanks in advanced.

Solution from Xakle that works great with controlling character with camera.

You have to set the gravity settings of Volumes through the provided Blueprint nodes, like the ones I used in the Level Blueprint of the Example Map.

Hmmm, I don’t get what’s your problem here since you deleted your first post.

Control Rotation is usually modified by the camera, so I guess you shouldn’t use it.

Thanks appreciate the reply. Basically the issue I am having is my character responds great when walking and running normal with all gravity. But when I add my velocity based sliding the controls don’t respond correctly. So I was hoping to try cosmicaffairs solution and use the control option but for the player control and not just the camera control. I will keep working at a solution. Thanks again.

Is there a way to stop the player character from jittering when it’s interacting with a ramp and a flat floor without having to disable Align Component to Floor?
