Hi, curious to know if its possible to configure an emitter to emit on subframes.
I was keen to look at a particle attribute reader where a secondary emitter spawns from a primary emitters particle position. When the primary particles source particles are moving quickly, the secondary particle emission can step rather poorly creating a jagged emission. In a package like Houdini you can emit on subframes so I was curious to know if there might be something similar…
I can maybe use a sphere location emitter to try and overlap a bit as a cheat, but when different source particles are moving at different velocities its hard to get the overlap right for all the different source particles. Could be wrong, and maybe there are other techniques for this, but if I did a really low secondary spawn (1) and the position was interpolated and spawned in between frames I feel I could get considerably smoother results overall.
