Niagara spawned via animation have no shadows

does any one know how we can get the render properties of a niagara system available to us if we spawn a system via a notify state in an animation? There seems to be no way to turn on shadow casting or adjust decal receiving if we spawn VFX this way.

If you drop a system into the world you have those option available, and in fact is the only way it’s possible to set them outside of modifying via blueprint.
