For today’s dose of “wtf are we doing”…
I have my Niagara particle emitter all set up to spawn 50 cycling sprites inside of a custom mesh shape. This works great. took minimal tweaking (about 1 hour for a particle emitter with nothing nothing about Niagara is not bad).
Now I need to have around 150 to 300 of these particle systems spawn in randomized locations around the map, and I hit a wall…
I thought this was something I could do inside of Niagara. If it is, it’s not exactly intuitive.
Any tips/suggetsions? I would rather having to manually scatter actors around…
Addendum - The particle system does not seem to be reacting to the mesh occlusion settings - any idea on how to get the particle effects to render even when outside of the bounds by an additional 10,000 units or so?
