Niagara Ribbon Creation - Possible to control which particles create ribbon?

Learning Niagara and Unreal so please bear with my newbness. :wink:

It appears that Ribbons try to connect to all particles emitted. Is there a way to group or assign how Ribbons are made?

Lets say I emit 5 particles from one point, that float away… making a ribbon. Then I emit 5 more particles from another point. The Ribbon tries to connect the last particle from the first 5 to the first particle in the 2nd burst. How can I tell Ribbons to be created only in a certain group or number of particles?

Are there ways to control this or are Ribbons inherently just going to try to connect to every particle in its system?
