Niagara Motion Vectors for TemporalAA

Hi,

Mike Lyndon mentioned on Inside Urela show “Houdini Workflows with Unreal Engine | Inside Unreal” at 1:21:15 - that Niagara does feed into Motion Vectors for TemporalAA but I can’t find any documentation on how to use it. Is it already possible in UE 4.25? I want to use this feature to mask small particles or very fast-moving particles and have them visible even with TemporalAA

Cheers,

Did you check your material settings? There’s two checkboxes there: ‘Output Velocity’ (which should allow the particles to write into the Motion Vectors), and ‘Responsive AA’, which should apply Temporal AA to the particles.
