Summary

As seen on image, material doesnt render on the mesh renderer, even though it shows when that mesh is shown. Seems like a niagara issue, more props even from the ones that exist in new projects (like the switch meshes) don’t render.

Steps to Reproduce

Make a new niagara system, empty.
Add a mesh renderer
On what to render, choose “CP_Device_Switch_03_Off” (same thing happens to custom meshes)

Expected Result

The mesh material renders

Observed Result

The mesh material shows as missing

Same here, idk if is a bug or missconfigured, but Im having the same issue

Edit, when I change the material overriding it, I can see this toast:

Others mats works great, but this have this problem

Yup, I found that too! Annoying that they hid this and made it manually this update without telling anyone, but I guess we are not blocked (Prob a bug, no UX designer would agree this is how it should be done)
