I’ve been having an issue for a long time now where all Niagara FX that are attached to sockets on the weapons the player uses (weapons attached to the first person character BP) flicker or disappear when looking in various directions. I have tried as many solutions as I can think of or any that I have read or watched.
I’ve tried switching FX to local space, switching from GPU to CPU, adjusting bound sizes to be larger or smaller, set sprite renderer sort methods to view distance and/or view depth, adjusted spawn rates and other emitter specific parameters.
And still, I have not resolved this issue. It also seems to change based on my location as well. When I move to a different spot, the effect may reappear when looking in a certain direction even if it was not visible in my previous location (you’ll see what I mean in the video below). This happens with ALL FX on the weapons; dynamic beams, sprites, and particles. This issue is also like 100x worse for me in versions 5.2 and 5.3 (the video is recorded using 5.1). It also becomes worse when more geometry is present in the environment. Since there isn’t mush in this scene, it isn’t as bad.
I appreciate any help. Thank you!!
