Niagara fluids doesnt ( has never ) work

When running the included 2d smoke niagara systems for example, no issues, when I try to run any of the 3d smoke systems, they do not show up in niagara preview or in the actual game at all. I have tried clearing my temp files in the project, I have not changed any config files at all. My 4060 videocard is up to date and I just upgraded to newest version of unreal 5.7, so the install is as clean as it is gonna get (this issue was also happening with unreal 5.6, which is why I am starting to suspect a hardware compatibility issue).

Appreciate any help or else I guess my game isn’t going to have any spell effects lol :sob::rofl:

I feel obligated to say this for the sake of your project, but please do not use Niagara fluids in a game title right now. Performance and scalability is such a mess that you will go insane trying to make it work. Even if Epic gets all the bugs worked out, performance is such a massive problem that it would make shipping your game a huge challenge. Use the flipbook baker and just use fluid flipbook replays or regular niagara.

As for why they’re not showing up, it could be any number of things. Make sure all the code is compiling properly and that your shader model choice is the newest one, but you should seriously consider not using Niagara fluids.
