I am new to Niagara. I made a system from a BeamStatic template. It’s a countermeasure effect that hits incoming missiles. I have the BeamEnd Parameter set to the beams end point. It works fine except the beam does not stay attached to the player. So I clicked the Local Space in the emitter settings. Now the end point isn’t in the right place. The BeamEnd is set to the world location of the missile at time of impact. I am currently at a loss on what to try next. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Just found the Inverse Transform Location node and that half solved it.
I want the Niagara effect to act like the Cascade effect. Where the beam start stays attached to the player and the end stays attached to the impact point. I seem to only be able to get one or the other.
