Niagara Audio Spectrum not updating

Hi, I created a very simple Niagara effect, which uses the Audio Spectrum node in scratchpad to set particle position. Unfortunately, the node works quite randomly. In the editor viewport, it works for a few seconds after I change a variable and returns 0 afterwards. To make it work, I need to change anything and get a few seconds of working spectrum.

When launching the game in the editor, the spectrum doesn’t work at all - despite audio playing, the value is always 0. Does anyone know what to do to debug the issue or mak it work? For reference - I also tried effects from some tutorial and the result is the same.
