Go behind the scenes of the interactive The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience. Learn how a team of experts leveraged UE5 features Lumen and Nanite, and with the help of SideFX’s Houdini, created a tech demo that blurs the boundaries between cinematic and game.

New release brings Mesh to MetaHuman to Unreal Engine, and much more!

Playing a crucial part of the Matrix demo were MetaHumans, which have received a significant update in the latest release. In addition to an array of new and improved features with more hairstyles, clothing options, and loads of customizations, the new Mesh to MetaHuman feature in Unreal Engine grants the ability to take your custom facial mesh and convert it into a MetaHuman, fully rigged and ready to animate!

From anime art to Best RPG award: The making of Bandai Namco’s Tales of Arise

Inspired by the Ninety Days in Unreal Engine 5 project by Quixel, Maxim Chichka @MadIdeaX_Max put themselves to work. They forged this scene In just three days, including some modeling and texturing. They utilized UE5 features such as Niagara and Lumen and took full advantage of Megascans to forge this radiating scene.
