Atlus shares which Unreal tools were instrumental towards developing acclaimed RPG Shin Megami Tensei V

The esteemed Japanese development team, Atlus, shared with us how core Unreal Engine features such as UE’s Materials system, Blueprint Visual Scripting, Pivot Painter, and Sequencer were critical in helping them achieve their vision for their highly anticipated JRPG, Shin Megami Tensei V.

The team wanted to maintain the series’s dark atmosphere while adding new 3d depictions of hand-drawn illustrations, combining that hand-drawn look with Unreal Engine’s signature photorealistic effects to produce a result appropriate for modern consoles.

Four-person university team, Yumuke, has created this fantastic announcement trailer for their intriguing adventure-puzzle game concept, Shattered Memories.

Torn between her present experience and her forgotten memories, Noelle must find her memories to continue exploring this strange universe. Journey through this mind-bending experience as Noelle to put all the pieces together, literally. Though she may find that certain events should have remained forgotten.

FRACTURED IN SPACE

Don’t stress out. Dust yourself off and explore a mysterious world, learn of an omnipotent entity and try to survive in Fractured In Space by SHK Interactive. Take on the role of a simple civilian who managed to survive a planetary conflict and must now escape from a planet occupied by an unknown entity.

Monolith to Gaia

Inspired by a draftwood statue they got for their father, Norbert Gardony began putting together their project, Monolith to Gaia.

They scanned the statue and composed it within RealityCapture before importing it into UE5, leaning on Nanite to handle the 5 million polygons! With a mood-setting environment with a mix of trees and lush vegetation gives the overall biome a Gaia-worthy feel that we think you will all agree is monolithic!
