This could be a game changer ! No cables and you get positional tracking. Strange they are talking about iPhones though, this should ideally work with daydream.
Is there an unreal integration?
Seems interesting, but what about tracking of controllers or other objects? And then placing your hands or some other object in front of your face would cause occlusion issues that break the tracking since you’re blocking the cameras/sensors, unless you add multiple sensors on different sides of the headset, but then that’s probably way too expensive and complex.
For mobile VR it looks like a great product, but for high-end dedicated VR setups, I don’t think it’s an ideal solution.
